Juicy Fruit
So, have you ever had juice for two days and no other food? We did on Monday and Tuesday and it's no fun. Actually, it's quite healthy if you eat all raw veggies and blend them. It's like rearranging molecules at the visible level; plus, with a fancier juicer you can separate the pulp from the juice (or, put them back together to get more fiber.) It's amazing how many veggies it takes for one glass. Let's see. Get about four bundles of spinach for one eight-ounce glass. Yeah. Oh, and also try garlic, ginger, bell peppers (all colors), cilantro. Just pick your faves and start the blender. I also wonder about rosemary but haven't tried this, yet. It's probably too herby.
The point is *not* to cleanse anything...it's just a way to eat veggies in all their glorious forms. Yum! Oh, and please don't add anything else. Ick. There's no need.
You can also do this with cashews, almonds, etc. Not sure why some folks add molasses, though. I like syrup as much as the next yokel but sweet ruins the nut.
