Yesterday, turned four decades. Yay! Coworkers got me a sweet card saying how youthful I look which is always generous even though I know this won't be true forever. The secret to longevity (if not beauty) is food, fitness, and fun! Also, doing nice things for others never hurts, either. Let's cherish the wisdom that comes with age rather than focusing on ailments. Too many people of all ages have actual poor health so there's never good reason to fret about getting older. Who knows, maybe some day there will be a cure for aging; or, if you really need to feel better, go ahead and Google the Cracked article about how it's not really so blissful to be immortal after all. Just think: you would be stuck (no longer evolving) while each subsequent generation would improve or perhaps die out via natural selection. So, be happy, peeps!
Also, let's change elderly to elder (the former is poor grammar so mffppppt!) How's that for mature? :P
